Taking an enquiry from a SAP Consultancy for your skills set this morning, initially I wasn’t very excited because you and I both know that usually all that they’ll do is same old… Body shop you off to ABSA, Liberty, Netcare else SAB as examples.
What kindled my interest is that they are pushing into the off-shoring market … The UK, Australia and New Zealand offering both local and on-site opportunities.
Hoping to attract the best SAP BIW Objects skilled professionals in Gauteng, their project’s are a decent mix of new projects and third level functional support.

A new big project is due to kick off which calls for a mix of Microsoft BI with Business Objects working in a SAP environment. The money is good … the project great … but are the skills set out there??? Quietly Vaughn 008 sipped his Martini …umm … if they are anywhere, we’ll find them at Anglo, ABN, ABSA, Metcash, Standard Bank or Vodacom … “Gosh you are good!!” quipped M.
