Essentially they are after a Graduate from the factual sciences … Statistics / Mathematica who has experience working with trending based technologies such as Gauss S-Plus SPSS else Stratgraphics.
Paying in the mid R300’s, I’m thinking that a young professional with a Chaid / Number Theory / Stocastic academic background will fit into this team very nicely.
The salary is not a fortune hence being practical I am looking for somebody living around Witpoortje, Florida, Little Falls, Strubensvally way.

On the ETL front, they are appointing 3 SSIS professionals with varying levels of experience to work as a team.
Level one – The most senior role calls for a Architect / Designer with several years experience who will be their Top Tier ETL Professional … Sit on their BI Committee, Team Leader and obviously work hands on. The CTC for this post exceeds R550K.
Level two – Our client foresees someone whose strongest attributes are highly technical SSIS T-SQL Development … A wizard on 2008 Integration Services who will be primarily new build dedicated with secondary production duties. We have been given a R450-R520K CTC to work with on this one.
Level 3 – A good match for this role will be a technically sound Microsoft ETL Developer who will initially focus on systems support with secondary development responsibilities who will be fast tracked to level two. Their CTC budget for this team member falls between R280K – R330K per annum.
